Frequently asked questions
Everything you want to know about our services and the way we work.
Our services
What types of projects do you handle?
We work on the entire electronic design cycle: requirements analysis, system architecture, schematic design (preliminary and detailed), prototyping management and validation testing. We specialise in energy conversion — switched-mode power supplies (SMPS), battery chargers, inverters — for demanding fields such as automotive and aerospace.
Do you work on projects of all sizes?
Yes, we support both startups with a first product idea and established industrial companies that need an external expert to strengthen their design office. Project size is not a criterion — what matters is the quality and precision of the design.
Do you only offer design, or consulting too?
Both. We can intervene from the ideation phase to help you define the technical architecture of your product, validate feasibility and guide your technological choices. We also offer audits of existing schematics if you want an external perspective on an ongoing design.
Do you manage prototype manufacturing?
We manage subcontracting during prototype production: supplier selection, manufacturing follow-up, component sourcing and coordination of stakeholders. Once the prototype is delivered, we also provide functional validation and performance testing.
Areas of expertise
In which industrial sectors do you work?
Our references cover automotive (starter-generators, onboard chargers, Boost-Buck power supplies), aerospace (power supplies for satellites and aircraft), and environment (air quality monitoring systems). Our expertise in demanding environments enables us to meet the strictest regulatory requirements (EMC, reliability, thermal robustness).
What is a "worst-case" analysis and why is it important?
Worst-case analysis consists of verifying that the circuit operates correctly even under the most unfavourable conditions: maximum component tolerances, extreme temperatures, supply voltage variations. This analysis is essential in aerospace and automotive fields where a failure can have critical consequences. It allows components to be sized with the appropriate safety margins.
Do you work with specific standards (DO-160, AEC-Q, etc.)?
Yes. Our experience in demanding environments has led us to work in compliance with the sector standards in force: DO-160 for aeronautics, CISPR and EMC standards for automotive, as well as the reliability requirements specific to space. We adapt our design process to the regulatory requirements of each project from the study phase onwards.
Training
Who are your electronics training courses aimed at?
Our training courses are mainly aimed at new recruits to an electronics design office, and at technicians or engineers wishing to deepen their skills in analogue electronics and power electronics. We also offer training prior to electrical authorisation for teams required to work on electrical installations.
Can you help a company set up its electronics laboratory?
Yes, this is one of our support services. We advise companies on the choice of equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, analysers), the layout of the laboratory and the implementation of test procedures suited to their activity. The objective is to provide you with an efficient measurement environment tailored to your real needs.
Collaboration
How does a first contact work?
Simply contact us via our contact form, briefly describing your project or need. We will respond as quickly as possible to arrange an initial discussion — with no commitment — to better understand your expectations and assess how we can help you.
Do you work only in Île-de-France or remotely as well?
Based in Paris, we work mainly in the Île-de-France region, but a large part of our work (schematic design, technical reviews, training) can be done remotely. For prototype testing and validation phases, on-site presence can be organised according to project needs, anywhere in France.
